Online deposit, pre-authentication and refund policy

Pre-authentication: For reservations during our peak periods, we may take card details to secure your table however there is no charge made to the card in advance. Please note, if you do not arrive for your reservation or contact us to cancel your reservation, a £5pp charge is applicable.

Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required for parties of 6 or more at the time of booking unless the reservation is for a Christmas booking, private space, weekends or special occasion, when any party size can be asked for a deposit. Deposit payments can be made in cash, credit or debit card and is taken in pound sterling. If you have any queries please contact us.

If the reservation is cancelled, and more than 24 hours' notice is provided, we may hold your deposit for a three month period, whereby you can re-book your experience/meal with us. If the reservation is cancelled in less than 24 hours then the deposit will be forfeited. In the event a deposit refund is approved, please allow up to 28 working days to receive the amount back.

Gift card and experience terms

The Furnace (UK) Ltd. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time or withdraw the card on reasonable notice. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • Gift cards can be redeemed in part or full against food, drink or masterclasses.
  • The card cannot be exchanged for cash and you may only redeem in Pound Stirling.
  • The minimum amount required to purchase a giftcard is £10 and you may buy up to a maximum value of £200 in a single transaction. If you wish to purchase an amount higher than £200 please contact us.
  • The card balance must be used by the expiry date which is 12 months from its purchase date; any remaining balance may be subject to forfeit post this date.
  • All cards will be automatically activated 24 hours after being purchased.
  • You should treat your gift card as cash; lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
  • We do not offer refunds on gift cards unless they are faulty or damaged.

Christmas Jumper £10 Voucher

Anyone visiting us wearing a Christmas jumper between 10-24 December 2021 will be entitled to receive a £10 off voucher to enjoy 3 January - 10 February 2022:

  • Only one entry will be accepted per person
  • Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over 
  • We reserve the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of our control
  • Book in advance via the QR code on your voucher
  • £10 is off a minimum £30 bill at The Furnace
  • Not to be used alongside any other offer
  • Voucher has a one time use only

Christmas Card 2021 Prize Draw

By scanning the QR code and entering details on our Christmas Card, entrants indicate his/her/their agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions:

  • Only one entry will be accepted per person
  • Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over 
  • The Furnace reserve the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control
  • Winners will be allocated at random by software, from all entries received
  • By submitting your details you allow us to process your data to contact you

Winner prize:

  • There is one main prize for one winner
  • Entries will close on 24 December 2021 at 23:59
  • Winner will be announced and contacted w/c 3 January 2022
  • The prize is two nights for two people at a four star hotel in Madrid (Bed and Breakfast inclusive)
  • Prize sponsor: Molson Coors Beverage Company (uk) Limited

Runner-up prizes

  • There will be 3 runners-up, notified via e-mail 
  • Each runner-up winner will receive one £50 gift card to enjoy at The Furnace
  • £50 runner-up gift cards will be redeemable between 4th and 31st January 2022 
  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within the allocated period (4-31 January 2022), the prize will not be reallocated
  • Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash

Birthday Bonus

In January, dine on our £30 set menu and pay the year you were born (i.e. if you were born in 1993 you pay £19.93) - available for all guests to enjoy within your booking.

Must be booked in advance, via the "birthday bonus" booking type here
Excludes Saturdays.
